IPlan is a website and app combination that serves as a college preparation information hub specifically aimed at foster and homeless youth. The site features a wealth of information on all forms of post-high-school education, from four-year universities to community colleges to vocational programs, and financial aid and government grants for each.
Students can create accounts in order to keep track of their progress on college prep checklist items for each grade level from 6th-12th grade. The site also allows students to store notes and college application details as well as enables administrators to send push and email notifications to students for their specific school, district, and/or grade level. The app ports the website directly into a user’s phone, allowing students to login and manage their information anywhere they go.
